Men’s Tennis Looks to Bounce Back in Sunday Doubleheader

Baton Rouge—The LSU men’s tennis team stays home to face No. 18 South Carolina and Nicholls on Sunday, February 28 at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the LSU Tennis Complex

LSU is looking to bounce back after being swept, 7-0, by No. 11 Florida on Friday, February 26.

The Gamecocks are coming off a loss to No. 10 Texas A&M, 6-1, on Friday. The Colonels are coming off their second victory of the season against Loyala New Orleans, 5-2.

South Carolina has three ranked in singles, those being No. 32 Daniel Rodrigues, No. 81 Raphael Lambling, and No. 118 Connor Thompson. They hold two ranked duos in No. 44 Rodrigues/Thompson and No. Lambling/Phillip Jordan.

Nicholls has only played three matches this season due to a myriad of cancellations, but Pavle Drobnjakovic and Antoine Martin-Thirat led the team with two singles wins.
