Baton Rouge—The LSU men’s tennis team returns to the LSU Tennis Complex to kick off SEC play against Vanderbilt on Friday, February 19 at 5:00 p.m.
Foreshadowing for weather, this match will take place indoors as of now. The max capacity for indoors matches in 80 people. Family members of LSU’s player and/or coaches have first priority.
LSU is coming off their first defeat of the season, falling to in-state rival Tulane, 5-2. The Tigers currently stands at 7-1 on the season.
Vanderbilt is led by 16th year head coach Ian Duvenhage. The Commodores have a 4-1 record so far and are coming off a 4-0 loss over Memphis on February 14. Vanderbilt has one ranked player in No. 117 George Harwell, who is 4-0 on the dual season.
LSU and Vanderbilt faced off in the first SEC match of 2019-20 season, where the Tigers squeaked out a 4-3 victory.
