Melbourne, Fla. – The No. 3 LSU women’s golf team is in second place after completing the second round of the Moon Golf Invitational, Monday at the Duran Golf Club.
The Tigers currently sit at 11-under par with one round remaining. South Carolina is in the top spot at -20.
The Tigers came out firing on all cylinders with an 8-under 280 in round two led by Latanna Stone‘s 7-under 65. Stone remained even on the round until a birdie on No. 9 put her in red figures. She is in second place individually going into the final round.
Ingrid Lindblad finished with 15 pars and 3 birdies on her way to a 3-under 69. Kendall Griffin also shot a 3-under 69, pitching four birdies in the round. Lindblad and Griffin are currently tied for seventh individually at -3 for the tournament.
Carla Tejedo Mulet shot a 5-over 77 with three birdies and Presley Baggett was 7-over 79.
