Tigers Tied for Third at Moon Golf Invitational

Melbourne, Fla. – The No. 3 LSU women’s golf team is tied for third after the first round at the Moon Golf Invitational, Sunday at the Duran Golf Club.

The Tigers sit at 3-under par after the opening day of their spring schedule.

Sophomore Latanna Stone’s 4-under 68 led the way. Stone started on No. 1 and birdied six of her 18 holes to get to 4-under for the round. After round one she is tied for third individually.

Kendall Griffin shot a 2-under 70 and is currently tied for sixth individually. Griffin birdied four of her first 14 holes and pitched even par for her last four holes.

Ingrid Lindblad shot a 1-over 71. She eagled No. 9 and was even par for her last seven holes. Presley Baggett was 2-over 74 and Carla Tejedo Mulet shot a 5-over 77.
