Baton Rouge—The LSU men’s tennis team will face the Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns on Wednesday, January 20 at 5:00 p.m. CT at the LSU Tennis Complex.
The Tigers are coming off a 2-0 weekend that included two 7-0 sweeps over Alcorn State. This is the second consecutive season where LSU 7-0’d the Braves twice to start the season off.
Louisiana-Lafayette kicked off their Spring season last Friday, January 15, in Austin, Texas, where they fell to Texas, 7-0. Monday, January 18, they visited Middle Tennessee State and fell, 1-6, putting the Ragin’ Cajuns at 0-2. Louisiana-Lafayette finished the 2020 going 13-3, putting themselves atop the SWAC before the season was canceled due to COVID-19.
