Tigers Welcome Tulane to Natatorium on Monday

BATON ROUGE – The LSU Women’s Swimming and Diving team will be back in the competition pool on Monday, December 14 against Tulane. The meet will begin at 11 a.m. CT from inside the LSU Natatorium. 

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the general public will not be admitted into the Natatorium for the meet.

LAST TIME OUT

Last time out at the Art Adamson Invitational, Emilie Boll swam the eighth fastest time in school history in the 100-Yard Breaststroke, a 1:00.57, to win the event. She then finished in fourth place in the 200-Yard Breaststroke with a time of 2:18.24. 

Summer Stanfield also brought home a victory for the Tigers. The sophomore won the 200-Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:55.62, the fourth best time in school history. She then swam the ninth best 200-Yard IM in school history, a 1:59.69, to finish in second place. Stanfield then swam the ninth best 200-Yard Freestyle, a 1:47.52, to finish in third place. 

Katarina Milutinovich notched three second place finishes in the 50, 100, and 200-Yard Freestyle with times of 22.76, 49.38, and 1:47.47.

At the Texas Diving Invitational, Helle Tuxen finished in second place on Platform with a score of 283.10, seventh place on the Three-Meter Springboard with a score of 269.90, and eighth on the One-Meter with a score of 245.25. Anne Tuxen set a new personal best on Platform with a score of 276.05 to finish in third place. She finished in fifth place on both three-meter and one-meter with scores of 337.40 and 278.10.
