Men’s Golf Finishes Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate

Birmingham, Ala. – The LSU men’s golf team concluded the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate on Tuesday with a final round score of 3-over par 283. The Tigers’ three-day total at the Old Overton Club came out to 25-over 865 to finish in 13th place.

Final Results

Philip Barbaree was the low finisher of the tournament for LSU with a three-round tally of 2-over 212. He closed with a 1-over 71 on Tuesday and tied for 35th overall. Trey Winstead had the low round of the day for LSU with a 1-under 69 that moved him into a tie for 44th place at 6-over 216.

Garrett Barber tossed in a counting score of even par 70 and Nicholas Arcement was LSU’s final counting score of the day with a 3-over 73. Arcement finished in 57th place at 10-over 220. Connor Gaunt closed out the tournament with a 8-over 78 and finished in 68th place.

That concludes the Fall portion of the LSU men’s golf team schedule. The spring schedule will be announced at a later date.
