Men’s Golf Wraps Up Round Two at Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate

Birmingham, Ala. – The LSU men’s golf team shot a score of 12-over 292 in Monday’s second round of the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate at the Old Overton Golf Club (par 70).

Philip Barbaree and Garrett Barber both carded 1-over 71s for the Tigers on the day. Barbaree’s two-round tally is now at 1-over 141 to put him in a tie for 34th place.

Trey Winstead and Nicholas Arcement are both tied for 58th place after two days of play at 7-over 147. Winstead shot a second round 7-over 77, and Arcement finished with a 4-over 74. Connor Gaunt is tied for 67th place at 13-over 153 (77-76).

The Tigers are in 14th place at 22-over 582. The third and final round of the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate begins on Tuesday at 8:35 a.m. CT for LSU. The Tigers will play alongside Kentucky.
