“Lauren is a player who fits in to what we are trying to build on and off the field,” LSU soccer head coach Sian Hudson said. “As a player she is a versatile attacker who can operate as a forward or attacking midfielder. She is a skillful, quick, and a creative player who is strong going at players 1v1.
“These traits give her the ability to make an impact in the final third by creating and scoring goals. Her character is exceptional and we look forward to her having a positive impact on our team culture here at LSU.”
A two-time all-state performer in the state of New Jersey, Robles will come to Baton Rouge with a solid soccer background as she played her club soccer with Eclipse and the Professional Development Academy in New Jersey. She helped Randolph High School to the semifinals of the 2019 NJSIAA Tournament while scoring 10 goals and registering four assists throughout the season. She helped Randolph win the 2019 Morris County Tournament of Champions and the 2019 NJAC division title.
Robles also ran track and field in high school while also partaking in choir, spring musicals, political debate, and Team Harmony, a group that focuses on anti-bullying.
