Twenty-One Tigers Earn All-SEC Track & Field Honors

Baton Rouge, La. – Twenty-one LSU track and field athletes were awarded with SEC honors for the 2020 indoor season.  Four of the twenty-one were named to the All-SEC first team for their winning performances at the SEC Championships last weekend.

JuVaughn Harrison (high jump), Terrance Laird (200 meter dash), Lisa Gunnarsson (pole vault), and Tonea Marshall (60 meter hurdles) were all named to the first team.  Six members of the men’s team and eight members of the women’s squad were named to the All-SEC second team for either finishing second or third in their respective events.  Davis Bove (mile), Thelma Davies (200 meters), Amber Anning (400 meters) were named to the All-SEC freshman’s team for finishing as the top freshman in their even.

Damion Thomas – 60 Meter Hurdles
Mercy Abire – Long Jump
Amber Anning – 400 Meters
Thelma Davies – 200 Meters
Brittley Humphrey – 60 Meter Hurdles
Symone Mason – 200 Meters, 4×400 Meter Relay
Katy-Ann McDonald – 800 Meters
Abby O’Donoghue – High Jump
Kiya Oviosun – 4×400 Meter Relay
