Men’s Golf Closes Out Cabo Collegiate

Cabo, Mexico – The LSU men’s golf team closed out the Cabo Collegiate on Tuesday with a 15th place finish at 39-over 891 (295-291-305) at the Cabo Del Sol Ocean course.

Final Results

Garrett Barber was LSU’s best finisher with a tie for 22nd place with an even par 213. He fired rounds of 71, 66, and 76 en route to the tie for 22nd. Barber’s 14 birdies in the tournament ranked as the sixth most in the field.

Chris Woollam tied for 47th at 6-over 219 (71-74-74). Michael Sanders (T71st/+16), Philip Barbaree (T77th/+25) and Trey Winstead (79th/+29) rounded out LSU’s competitors in the field. Arizona State won the team title at 20-under 832.

The Tigers will be back in action March 16-17 at the Valspar Collegiate in Palm City, Fla., at the Traditions GC.
