This Week on LSU Tiger Tracks
Show features a profile of legendary LSU basketball guard Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf and an update on the Tigers’ two-sport standout, Maurice Hampton Jr.
BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 6:30 p.m. CT Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m. CT Thursday, and at 10 p.m. CT Friday on Cox Sports Television.
The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.
The show opens with a report by correspondent Paul Boron on the jersey retirement of legendary LSU men’s basketball guard Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf. His jersey will be retired at halftime of Saturday’s LSU-Texas A&M game in the Maravich Center.
The show continues with a profile by Boron of LSU two-sport standout Maurice Hampton Jr., who plays safety for the football team and outfield for the baseball squad.
Tiger Tracks also includes a piece about a couple affectionately known as “Mr. and Mrs. LSU,” who as students became engaged on campus eight years ago and have since begun raising a new generation of future Tigers.
