BATON ROUGE – The LSU Softball team continues to rank in the Top 10 of the week polls. This week the Tigers moved to No. 6 in the USA Today/NFCA DI Coaches poll and remained at No. 7 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate poll.
LSU, who has been ranked every week since the end of the 2014 season, earned a total of 613 points in the NFCA poll. In the ESPN/USA Softball poll, the Tigers picked up 377 points. The Tigers are one of three SEC schools in the top 10 and is ranked highest among those teams.
The Tigers are back in action this week, hosting their first midweek of the year against LA Tech Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Tiger Park.
