Brisco outran Javianne Oliver (7.08) and Brianna McNeal (7.17) for the American title. Brisco ran a time of 7.10 in the semifinals to advance to the finals. Brisco has yet to lose a 60 meter race during her 2020 season as she won previous titles at the LSU Purple Tiger Invitational (7.28) and MLK Jr. Invitational (7.08).
Brisco was an 11-time All-American and three-time national champion during her days as a LSU sprinter. In 2018, she was the lead leg of the LSU women’s 4×100 meter relay squad that set the collegiate record of 42.05 to capture the SEC event title. Brisco, as are many other professional athletes in 2020, is chasing a bid for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.
