2020 LSU Football Coaching Clinic

A Letter from Head Coach Ed Orgeron

It’s been a quick turnaround for our football team after we put together one of the most memorable and exciting years in LSU history in 2019. I couldn’t be more proud of the way our team competed throughout the 2019 season – the players, our staff and everyone associated with the program was dedicated and committed to the LSU Standard of Excellence and the results showed with an undefeated 15-0 record and a national championship. It was certainly a great year for the LSU Tigers and the great state of Louisiana.

We are now focused on 2020 and preparing to put another championship caliber team on the field. We are currently in our off-season program with spring practice scheduled to start on March 7.

I would like to invite you to join us for our annual Spring Football Coaches Clinic on March 12-13.  Pro Football Hall of Famer and Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Allen is our featured speaker.  As one of the greatest NFL and collegiate running backs of all-time, Marcus will long be remembered as one of the best to ever play the game at any level.

Our coaches clinic lineup also includes John Robinson, a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and longtime head coach at Southern Cal and the Los Angeles Rams. Coach Robinson is LSU’s senior consultant to the head coach. LSU defensive coordinator Bo Pelini, will be talking about the LSU defense on Thursday evening. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to come and “talk ball” with our staff and other great Coaches.

Spring practices are open to high school coaches so please join us at your convenience.  Our Spring Game will be on Saturday, April 18.

I hope to see you soon!

Geaux Tigers!
