Show features baseball coach Paul Mainieri as studio guest, a preview of beach volleyball season, and a report on the Kay Yow Challenge in support of cancer research
BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. CT Wednesday on Cox Sports Television.
The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.
Tiger Tracks opens with a visit to the studio from baseball coach Paul Mainieri, who discusses the opening of the 2020 season at 7 p.m. Friday when the Tigers meet Indiana in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
The show continues with a report by correspondent Paul Boron on LSU’s 2020 beach volleyball squad, which is ranked No. 3 in the nation and begins its season on February 22 in Honolulu.
Tiger Tracks concludes with a report by Paul Boron on the participation of the LSU men’s basketball, women’s basketball and gymnastics teams in the Kay Yow Challenge, a fundraiser for cancer research.
