AUBURN, ALA. – The LSU Swimming Team closed out the weekend at the Auburn Invitational with a day highlighted by two top three finishes. The Tigers will be back in action February 18th for the SEC Championships at Auburn University.
IN THE POOL
100-Yard Freestyle
For the women, Johannah Cangelosi finished 21st with a time of 53.23. On the men’s side, Thomas Roark took the silver with a time of 44.46.
200-Yard Breaststroke
Three Tigers finished in the top eight; Maddie Clifton took the silver with a time of 2:18.70. Emily Pye and Ellen Pack finished fifth and eighth with times of 2:19.58 and 2:25.15. Isabella Buttaci and Abigail Baumgartner placed ninth and 11th with times of 2:26.76 and 2:29.86.
