Baton Rouge, La. – The LSU track and field program is accepting applications from LSU students who have an interest in joining the track and field team for the 2020 season from now until Friday, July 26.
Athletes who are interested in trying out should email trackandfield@lsu.edu before July 26 with their info. Interested applicants should include their name, LSU email address, LSU 89#, phone number, gender, what events they do, personal best marks, high school name and year of graduation from said high school. Tryouts will be held at Bernie Moore Track and Field Stadium at the beginning of the school year in late August.
All applicants must be enrolled on campus at LSU in Baton Rouge for a minimum of 12 hours (full-time status) for the fall semester, have a LSU GPA of at least 2.00 and not be on scholastic warning or probation.
Note – not all applicants will receive an invitation to tryout for the 2019-20 team.
