BATON ROUGE — Days removed from winning the Heisman Trophy, quarterback Joe Burrow led four LSU Football players on the AP’s All-America Teams released on Monday. Burrow was joined on the first team by Biletnikoff Award-winning wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase and freshman cornerback Derek Stingley Jr., while Thorpe Award-winning safety Grant Delpit was named to the second team.
On Dec. 12, Burrow became the first Tiger to be named the AP National Player of the Year.
