First L'Auberge Tipoff Luncheon Set For Nov. 7
BATON ROUGE – The first Tipoff Luncheon presented by UPS with men’s basketball coach Will Wade is set for Thursday, Nov. 7 on the eve of the Tigers 2019-20 season opener with Bowling Green.
LSU, the defending champions of the Southeastern Conference, will open the schedule of 17 home games on Friday, Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Season tickets, as well as mini-plans and non-conference single game tickets, are available at the LSU Athletics Ticket Office as well as online at LSUtix.net.
The guest for the opening luncheon, as has been the tradition, will be LSU women’s basketball head coach Nikki Fargas. Her team opens the 2019-20 season on Nov. 5 and will be preparing for a Nov. 9 home game with Florida State as she speaks to the group.
Coach Wade will preview the opening game and take a look at the team heading into the 2019-20 season. The monthly gatherings for good food and basketball conversation are open to the public.
The event will be held at the Bon Temps Buffet. The Buffet (open to those 21 and older) is available at 11:30 a.m. and the program begins at 12:10 p.m. The all-you-can-eat buffet ($16.95) is located on the ground floor of the hotel in the casino area.
