Women’s Golf Records Perfect Graduation Success Rate

BATON ROUGE, La. – The LSU women’s golf team was one of six Tiger teams to record a perfect score of 100 percent in the most recent Graduation Success Rates released by the NCAA.

The women’s golfers were joined by the men’s swimming & diving, men’s tennis, softball, women’s tennis and volleyball teams in achieving the perfect mark. LSU as a department recorded an 89 GSR for the second season in a row. It was the third consecutive season the Tigers posted an overall mark of 89 or higher.

The women’s golf program features seven players who were recently honored with a 3.0 or higher grade point average in the Spring 2019 semester. 2019 graduate Kathleen Gallagher, junior Kendall Griffin and sophomore Alden Wallace were honored over the summer as Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholars.

In 2018-19, LSU had a school-record 123 student-athletes graduate from the University, topping the previous mark of 114 set during the 2010-11 academic year.

These scores, along with the record number of LSU student-athlete graduates in 2018-19, continue to provide proof that LSU is putting its student-athletes on the right track for success after their college careers have been completed.
