LSU Athletics Produces Largest Graduating Class

BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU’s 2019 Summer Commencement at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center brought the LSU Athletics Department’s number of graduates for the 2018-19 year to a grand total of 123. It is the largest graduating class in LSU Athletics history, surpassing the old mark of 114 set in 2010-11 and matched in 2016-17.

SIxteen student-athletes received LSU degrees today, joining the 85 spring and 22 winter graduates.

Among the Summer Commencement class were football student-athletes Breiden Fehoko and Stephen Sullivan. The players graduated Friday morning ahead of the first practice of the 2019 season and earned the right to wear the SEC graduate patch this season. They join Blake Ferguson, Joe Burrow and Lanard Fournette on the roster as college graduates. Also crossing the stage on Friday was All-American gymnast Lexie Priessman, National Champion relay sprinter Rachel Misher and 2012 Olympian Riker Hylton.
