BATON ROUGE – The LSU women’s swim team was ranked No. 25 in the latest version of the CSCAA TYR Top 25 that was released on January 23.
“I think it’s a great honor for our women’s team,” said LSU head swim coach Dave Geyer. “I think it validates the work they have done this year. I will say that the only ranking that really matters to me is where we are for championship time. That’s when everything is even and square and we are ultimately trying to be the best in the country.”
LSU is one of nine schools in the SEC ranked in the Top 25 in the TYR Poll.
