BATON ROUGE – LSU Gymnastics head coach D-D Breaux has been named Honorary Chair for the 13th annual Dancing for Big Buddy, The Big Buddy Program announced this week.
The 13th annual Dancing for Big Buddy will be held Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The gala fundraiser features prominent members of the Baton Rouge community and dancers.
The 2019 star dancers are Brandon Barker, Sara Fautheree, Lauren Fowler, Brad Grundmeyer, Brandi B. Harris, Cate Heroman, Dr. Tina Holland, Aaron Lambert, Sherry Mockler, Larry Munson, Namisha Patel-Vasanji, Vishal Vasanji, Chris and Trula Remson, Scott Taylor, Raedtha ‘Rae’ Vasquez, and Michael Valluzzo.
The Big Buddy Program is a local non-profit (501(c)(3)) youth services agency providing positive role models and quality learning experiences to over 1,000 disadvantaged youth weekly. For over 39 years the Big Buddy Program has provided children and youth with positive adult role models through the Big Buddy/Little Buddy mentoring programs; character education and leadership sessions; after school programs, holiday camps and summer enrichment programs; teen programs, and literacy skills.
