BATON ROUGE – The No. 47 LSU women’s tennis team will compete in its final regular season home match against the No. 25 Mississippi State Bulldogs Sunday at noon CT at the LSU Tennis Complex.

LSU (12-6; 3-5 SEC) has an 11-2 record at home this season, including its biggest win of the season thus far over No. 17 Tennessee. The Tigers took just their second home loss of the season Friday in a close 4-2 match against the 10th-ranked team in the country in Ole Miss.

Mississippi State (14-6; 5-4 SEC) has a 4-2 record on the road and had won five straight conference matches before falling to No. 33 Texas A&M, 4-1, Friday.

The Tigers own a 29-12 all-time advantage over the Bulldogs, with their most recent win coming in a 4-2 decision in the 2015 season.

Freshman Eden Richardson, currently in the middle of an 11-match win streak, leads the team with 23 total singles victories while No. 80 Jessica Golovin leads the team with 14 dual singles wins. In doubles, Golovin and Richardson have put together a 9-4 dual record with a pair of top-15 ranked doubles wins this season.

Mississippi State is led by senior Madison Harrison on court one in both singles and doubles, while junior Anastasia Rentouli leads the team with a 12-3 dual singles record. Head coach Daryl Greenan is in his ninth season coching the Bulldogs.
