BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 7:30 p.m. CT Wednesday on Cox Sports Television. A replay of the show will air at 5 p.m. CT on Thursday.
The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.
The show begins with a review of LSU’s remarkable 2017 gymnastics season, as the SEC champion Tigers finished as the NCAA national runners-up for the second straight year.
LSU Tiger Tracks continues with a story by correspondent Garrett Walvoord on LSU’s history of dual-sport athletes in football and track, including current cornerback/sprinter Donte Jackson.
The show also includes a report on the jersey retirement of baseball all-American Todd Walker, who was honored last Friday in Alex Box Stadium prior to LSU’s game versus Ole Miss.
