BATON ROUGE, La. – The LSU softball team moved further into the top 10 this week as the Tigers moved up two places to No. 8 in the major national polls.

Winners of the last nine games, LSU improved its record to 31-7 overall and 7-2 in the SEC. LSU will take that winning streak into a top 15 matchup this weekend against No. 12/11 Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

The showdown starts Friday at 6:30, with game two set for 8 p.m. Saturday and the finale on Sunday at 2 p.m. Game one will be on SEC Network+, with game two on the SEC Network and Sunday’s game three on ESPN2.
