Football To Hold Second Spring Scrimmage on Saturday

BATON ROUGE – LSU will hold its second full-scale scrimmage of the spring on Saturday in Tiger Stadium as head coach Les Miles is expected to put the Tigers through another 100-play workout to conclude the fourth week of spring drills.

Saturday’s scrimmage is expected to start at approximately 11 a.m. and will once again focus on all three phases of the game.

After Saturday, the Tigers will have just one week (three practices) remaining this spring. The Tigers will host LSU Student Appreciation Day at Thursday’s practice in Tiger Stadium.

LSU will wrap up the spring next Saturday when they play the annual National L Club Spring Game in Tiger Stadium. Kickoff for the contest is set for 3 p.m. and admission is free of charge.

A complete scrimmage wrap-up along with comments from Miles can be found on LSUsports.net tomorrow afternoon.
