BATON ROUGE – LSU senior women’s golfer Madelene Sagstrom and sophomore Caroline Nistrup were named to the Raleigh Regional team announced on Wednesday by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association.
The top 10 and tied in each of the now four regionals are awarded all-region honors at the end of the event.
Sagstrom posted her second win of the year in the Raleigh Regional with a wire-to-wire scored at 8-under par 208. Nistrup finished in a tie for second at 2-under par 214.
The two golfers, who also were first-team All-SEC, will be part of the Lady Tiger lineup that will tee off Friday in the NCAA Women’s Golf Championships in Bradenton, Florida.
