The senior volunteered for Girls on the Run, a program that teaches life skills to girls in third through eighth grade and encourages them to work on health and fitness, and she is a a part of Volunteers in Public Schools, as she is paired with a student in second grade at Melrose Lower Elementary and reads to students there throughout the school year.

Frankenberger spearheaded the women’s tennis team’s obstacle course activity during the annual Halloween BOOZar, an event providing a safe trick-or-treating atmosphere for local children, and she participated along with her team in adopting an underprivileged child for the holidays in part of Thanksgiving with the Tigers.

Along with many visits to Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital with teammates, she also volunteered at LSU’s annual Holiday on Campus, an event that benefits the US Marine Corps, Toys for Tots and the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank.
