BATON ROUGE – The Mikeys, an award and talent show hosted by the LSU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, is set for Tuesday April 23 at 6:30 p.m. inside the Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes’ Bo Campbell Auditorium.
This event allows LSU student-athletes to showcase their talents in dances, skits and songs. In between the acts, awards similar to ESPN’s the ESPY’s that are voted on by the student-athletes will be handed out for the 2012-2013 season.
Tickets are $5 and donations will be accepted. All proceeds and donations will go to Special Olympics Louisiana, an organization that changes lives by promoting understanding, acceptance and inclusion between people with and without intellectual disabilities.
