BATON ROUGE – Registration is open for the 2010 LSU Tigers Boys Basketball Camps to be held on the LSU campus in June, July and August.
There will be six different camp sessions: a Father-Son weekend; two High School Skills Camps and three Day Camps.
The Father-Son weekend is set for June 4-5 and offers fathers and sons (grades 1-8) the opportunity to learn the game, spend quality time together and have fun. The overnight camp begins at 6 p.m. on June 4 and ends at 2:30 p.m. on June 5. The cost is $205 for father and son and $75 for each additional son. The registration deadline is May 21.
The two High School Skills Overnight Camps are set for June 5-6 and July 2-3. The cost is $150 for those staying overnight and $125 for those living in the Baton Rouge area that will commute. The camp begins at 1:30 p.m. on the opening day and concludes the next afternoon at 1 p.m. High school players looking to reach their full potential will be challenged to raise their game to the next level in this camp. This intense camp will focus on fundamentals and competitive team play.
The registration deadlines are May 21 for the June camp and June 18 for the July session.
The three day camps are set for June 14-17, June 21-24 and August 2-5. The camps run Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for grades 3-8. The cost is $250 per session. Campers will learn and improve fundamental basketball skills and learn to be a good team player.
Registration deadlines are June 7 for session I, June 14 for session II and July 26 for session III.
Tiger Basketball Camp is open to any/all entrants limited only by number, age, grade level or gender, and, will not provide transportation to campers.
