Men's Tennis Drops SEC Finale to No. 7 MSU, 4-0

BATON ROUGE—The LSU tennis team dropped its SEC finale, 4-0, to Mississippi State Sunday afternoon in the LSU Tennis Complex.

Mississippi State improves to 19-3 overall and 11-1 in the SEC while LSU drops to 16-10 and 3-9 in conference play.

Doubles Point
Boris Kozlov and Nick Watson fell 6-3 on court three to Gregor Ramskogler and Trevor Foshey, and No. 3 Nuno Borges and Strahinja Rakic took a 6-3 match from Shane Monroe and Daniel Moreno on court one to give Mississippi State the 1-0 lead.

Singles Results
The Bulldogs extended their lead to 2-0 when No. 2 Borges recorded a 6-2, 6-3 win against Monroe on court one.

No. 70 Giovanni Oradini took consecutive 6-4 sets from Rafael Wagner on court two to put Mississippi State up 3-0.

The Bulldogs secured the match on court three when Rakic worked a 6-2, 0-6, 6-3 win against Kozlov.

LSU will return to action in the SEC Tournament, which runs from Wednesday, April 17-Sunday, April 21 in Gainesville, Florida at the Ring Tennis Complex.
