BATON ROUGE –The LSU softball team remains in the Top 10 of the national polls this week, moving to No. 7 in the USA Today/NFCA Division I Coaches Poll and staying at No. 5 in the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll.  

LSU has been ranked every week since the end of the 2014 season. The Tigers earned a total of 575 points in the NFCA poll. In the ESPN/USA Softball poll, the Tigers picked up 402 points.

The Tigers are on the road this weekend for more SEC action, traveling to Mississippi State for a three-game series. Game one will take place on Friday at 6 p.m. with Saturday’s and Sunday’s game airing on ESPNU at 5 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively. The Tigers return home next week to take on McNeese State April 9 at 6 p.m.
