Thoughts from the Co-Head Coach Chris Brandi
“After a couple days off, we’ve had some time this week to make a few adjustments on the practice court ahead of the Arkansas match. The Razorbacks are having a great year and we expect a match that could come down to the end.”

The Matchup
LSU is 27-9 all time against Arkansas. Last season, the teams met once with Arkansas taking a 6-1 victory.

Tiger Tidbits
The Tigers are 13-5 on the season and are 1-4 in SEC play. In the latest ITA polls, LSU is No. 41.

Last time out for LSU, Rafael Wagner and Joey Thomas defeated Texas A&M’s Juan Carlos Aguilar and Barnaby Smith, while Shane Monroe and Daniel Moreno clinched the doubles point against the Aggies with a win against Valentin Vacherot and Alex Vedri on court two. Nick Watson notched the lone singles victory in the match with a two-set win against Guido Marson, as LSU lost the match 5-2.

Wagner and Thomas, who hold the top-court, are the No. 51 duo in the country.

Notes on the Razorbacks
Arkansas is 11-8 on the year and is 2-3 in conference action. The Razorbacks are coming off a loss at Texas A&M on Friday.

The Razorbacks are led by No. 53 Oscar Mesquida, who occupies court one in singles. Adam Sanjurjo also plays a key role on the singles side. In doubles, the duo of Mesquida and Sanjurjo play in the No. 1 spot. Maxim Verboven and Enrique Paya play on court two.
