BATON ROUGE – After claiming two top-five wins over the weekend in California, the LSU Beach Volleyball team rejoined both the AVCA and DiG Magazine top-five.
The Tigers came in at No. 4 in both polls announced Monday. This is the 27th consecutive week that LSU has been inside the AVCA top-10. After joining the top-five for the first time in program history following the first week of the season, the Tigers dropped to No. 6 in both polls
LSU vaulted to back into the top-five after it accumulated wins over No. 3 Pepperdine and No. 5 Hawaii over the weekend at Manhattan Beach. LSU dropped matches to No. 1 UCLA and No. 2 USC.
The Tigers will host Coastal Carolina Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m. under the lights for the first ever competition at LSU Beach Volleyball Stadium.
