BATON ROUGE — The No.16 LSU women’s tennis team remains undefeated at home, earning its seventh win of season in a 7-0 sweep against Houston at the LSU Tennis Complex Sunday afternoon.

Selling Points

“I really liked what we did in doubles play. It was something we talked about before the match and things that we are trying strategically,” said co-head coach Julia Sell. “I thought they did a really good job out there. You can see that the whole team is very fatigued. We have already had a lot of traveling this season. They gave 100 percent effort. with what was left in them today. Overall, I thought they did a good job. They dug deep in to the well for energy.”

Sophomore Taylor Bridges and junior Paris Corley took the first win of the day in a 6-2 match against Elena Tairyan and Stephanie Belovukovic.
