Mainieri, Runion on Tiger Tracks This Week

BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU Tiger Tracks, a program highlighting various aspects of the university and its athletic department, can be seen at 6:30 p.m. CT Wednesday on Cox Sports Television.

The show, hosted by Jordy Hultberg and Bill Franques, is a weekly 30-minute production featuring interviews with LSU administrators, coaches and student-athletes, along with a look at some of the events and scholarly activity on campus.

LSU Tiger Tracks opens with a visit to the studio from baseball coach Paul Mainieri, who discusses this week’s opening of the 2019 season. The top-ranked Tigers will play host to UL-Monroe at 7 p.m. CT Friday in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.

The show also features a studio interview with first-year women’s golf coach Garrett Runion, who leads the Tigers into the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate tournament beginning on Sunday at English Turn Country Club in New Orleans.
