Women's Tennis Sends Five to ITA All-American

BATON ROUGE — Sophomore Taylor Bridges rounded out the women who earned spots in the ITA All-American Women’s tournament beginning this weekend at the Riviera Tennis Club in Malibu, California.

Bridges earned a singles spot in the pre-qualifying Draw. The All-American tournament is the most prestigious invitational in the fall.

With the addition of Bridges, LSU will send five players to the tournament this weekend, the most in program history. She will be joined by freshman Anna Loughlan, sophomore Eden Richardson, and seniors Jessica Golovin and Kennan Johnson.

LSU is one of six teams in the country with five or more players selected for the All-American tournament.

The tournament kicks off on Sept. 29 with the pre-qualifying rounds. The qualifying and main draws will continue through Oct. 7.
