Women's Golf Moves Up Three Spots At The Mason Rudolph

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The LSU women’s golf team has moved up three spots in the standings and is part way through the third round of the Mason Rudolph Women’s Championship at the Vanderbilt Legends Club on Saturday.

Freshman Alden Wallace shot a 4-under 68 in the second round, a new season-low for the rookie. Junior Monica Dibildox and senior Kathleen Gallagher each shot 1-over 73 to push the team up the standings. The majority of the squad has made it through the first 12 holes of the third round before stopping play for the day due to inclement weather.

Dibildox leads the team at 1-under for the tournament and is currently tied for 12th place. Dibildox and Gallagher were shooting even in the third round when the weather delay began.

Sophomore Kendall Griffin shot a 77 in the second round and is a 3-over in the third round to contribute to the team scoring.

Action is expected to continue at 9 a.m. CT on Sunday morning. LSU continues in a foursome with Michigan State, Missouri and Charlotte. Live scoring will be available at GolfStat.com.
