LSU is scheduled to have 10 additional training sessions leading up to its first preseason scrimmage of 2018 with a friendly against Rice on Aug. 10 in Houston. Following the exhibition match, the Tigers will take on UL-Lafayette on Aug. 13 (7 p.m./Baton Rouge) in what will serve as the final tune up before the 2018 hom opener on Aug. 19 at LSU Soccer Stadium.

The 2018 slate features nine home matches in Baton Rouge to go along with nine road contests. The full 2018 schedule is available at LSUsports.net. Tinaya Alexander (13 points) and Lucy Parker (10 points) are the other two double digit returning point scorers. Entering her third year as the netminder will be senior Caroline Brockmeier. A native of Tallahassee, Fla., Brockmeier has registered 14 career shutouts for the Purple and Gold.
