Blockparty to Bring Full-Service Tailgating to Death Valley
BATON ROUGE — Offering new full-service tailgating for LSU fans, Blockparty, a fan-focused hospitality company, and LSU Sports Properties, which is operated by Outfront Media Sports, Inc., the exclusive marketing and multi-media rights holder for LSU Athletics, have agreed to enter into a multi-year partnership as the department’s exclusive tailgating partner beginning in the 2018 football season.
“This is all about enhancing the game-day experience for our fans,” said Robert Munson, LSU Senior Associate Athletics Director. “This new option is open to everyone and will bring incredible convenience and personalized service for our fans who choose to sign up. We believe this will be a great addition to the best tailgating tradition in the country.”
Blockparty will offer premium tailgate packages on the grounds of the Patrick F. Taylor Building located on South Stadium Drive just down the street from Tiger Stadium, a brand-new location utilizing previously unoccupied tailgate locations.
Blockparty tailgate offerings will include an assortment of premium options as well as services to enhance the game day experience. Tailgaters will have access to bellhop attendants, tailgate attendants, and an on-demand concierge via Blockparty’s FanTextTM, a SMS service platform that provides fans the opportunity to text for instant assistance. Additionally, there will be live music, a kids zone and tailgate games for tailgaters.
