Mainieri, Bertman to Speak at L'Auberge on Tuesday
BATON ROUGE, La. — LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri will host a luncheon open to the general public at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1, at the L’Auberge Hotel and Casino on River Road in Baton Rouge.
LSU legendary coach Skip Bertman, who directed the Tigers to five national championships during his 18-season career, (1984-2001), will serve as the guest speaker at the event.
The luncheon, which is presented by UPS, will be held at the Bon Temps Buffet located on the main floor at L’Auberge, and the all-you-can-eat buffet is $14.95 per person. The buffet is available beginning at 11:30 a.m., and the program will begin at approximately Noon.
Mainieri will discuss the stretch run of the Tigers’ 2018 season and look ahead to next weekend’s SEC series versus Arkansas in Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
