Gymnastics Sells Out for Second-Straight Meet
BATON ROUGE – The LSU ticket office announced that due to high demand for Friday night’s meet between No. 2 LSU and No. 6 Kentucky, advance tickets are no longer available.
Doors open for fans at 6 p.m. A limited number of standing room only tickets may be available at first vault (7:35 p.m. CT) based on available seats and space. If standing room only tickets do become available, fans may purchase them at located on the south side of the PMAC near the ramps.
Students attending tonight’s meet will get in free with their Tiger Card. Doors on the upper west side of the PMAC open at 5:45 p.m. and the first 500 students in attendance will receive a free three-finger combo from Cane’s.
This marks the second-straight meet that LSU has sold out of its allotment on the day of the meet. Two weeks ago, the Tigers shattered the gymnastics attendance record when 13,729 fans witnessed the squad take down Alabama.
For season ticket holders not able to attend the meet or any meet, LSU offers a ticket forwarding program so that all tickets will be used. For more information, visit www.LSUsports.net/forward.
With a sellout expected for the meet on Friday, LSU officials are encouraging all fans to arrive to the PMAC early. Doors for students will open at 5:45 p.m. The remaining doors to the arena will open at 6 p.m.
Fans are reminded that LSU’s Geaux Clear policy is in effect for all sports. The following bags are permitted inside LSU Athletic venues: clear 12” x 6” x 12” or smaller bags, clear 1-gallon freezer bags & clear or non-clear 4.5” x 6.5” (approximately the size of a person’s hand) wallets/wristlets/clutches.
