Register for the Tiger 10K, The 'Race Into Death Valley'
BATON ROUGE — Registration is open for the inaugural Tiger10K set for Dec. 3, 2017. The multi-distance event will take place in and around LSU’s campus with a finish on the 50-yard line of Tiger Stadium.
The race offers a 5k, 10k and Kids Mile (ages 3-12) options. Participants will “Race Into Death Valley” followed by a post-race celebration outside the stadium featuring music, food, and refreshments.
The first 500 5K and the first 500 10K registrants will receive a discounted registration rate. The race is expected to sell out at 10,000 total runners. The 5K will be considered “sold-out” at 5,500 runners, the 10K at 3,500 runners and kids at 1,000 runners.
LSU Athletics, SportsBR and FRESHJUNKIE Racing are proud to bring the Tiger 10K to Baton Rouge for the first time and believe that it will provide a unique running experience that will attract both traditional runners and those who make this their first race.
The LSU Student Athlete Life Skills Program will be the beneficiary of the event, with a portion of the Tiger 10K proceeds supporting total student-athlete development within the LSU campus and community.
