Registration for the second annual “Bump Up the Jam”, a free student volleyball tournament hosted by the LSU Athletics and the Tiger volleyball team is now open.
The tournament, which is a celebration of the beginning of the school year and a promotion for the 2017 season, will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 20 on the southeast corner of the LSU Parade Ground near the student union.
All players must be current LSU students. Teams should be made up of four students and can be all-male, all-female or co-ed. Students must register with the full team roster by Thursday, August 17.
Food and drinks will be available to all registered teams throughout the afternoon. Prizes and giveaways will also be passed out during the tournament, with the top team winning 2017 LSU football home student season tickets. Do not miss your chance to interact with the members of the LSU volleyball team in a fun afternoon of competition prior to the start of the school year.
