Football Remains In CFP Rankings at No. 24

BATON ROUGE – LSU remains in the College Football Playoff Ranking for the second consecutive week as the Tigers come in at No. 24.

The Tigers (5-3, 3-2 SEC) will go into the weekend facing another CFP-ranked team in the Arkansas Razorbacks, who entered the poll for the first time this season at No. 25 this week.

LSU has now been ranked in the College Football Playoff Ranking 12 out of a possible 15 total weeks over the course of the last three seasons.

The Southeastern Conference has five teams in this week’s ranking, with Alabama at No. 1, Texas A&M at No. 8, Auburn at No. 9, LSU at No. 24 and Arkansaas at No. 25.

The only losses for LSU so far this season are to the Crimson Tide, No. 7 Wisconsin and No. 9 Auburn, with no less than three possible ranked teams to close the season in the month of November.

LSU returns to action on Saturday, traveling to take on the Razorbacks in Fayetteville at 6 p.m. The game will be televised live on ESPN.
