LSU Set for 1 p.m. CT Tip in SEC/Big 12 Challenge

BATON ROUGE – ESPN and the competing leagues announced on Monday the order of the games and networks for this year’s men’s basketball SEC/Big 12 Challenge to be played on Saturday, Jan. 28.

For the second straight year the games will be played on the final Saturday of January and all 10 games will be televised on the ESPN family of networks.

The pairings had been announced in a previous release and LSU will travel to Lubbock to take on Texas Tech and that game will be televised on ESPNU at 1 p.m. as part of a trip of games scheduled at that time.

The event showcases 10 of the 14 SEC schools and all 10 Big 12 programs on the common date during the conference schedule.

Here is the complete broadcast schedule for the 2017 SEC/Big 12 Challenge (all times CT):

  • 11 a.m. – Texas A&M at West Virginia, ESPN
  • 1 p.m. – LSU at Texas Tech, ESPNU; Florida at Oklahoma, ESPN; Kansas State at Tennessee, ESPN2
  • 3 p.m. – Texas at Georgia, ESPN; Iowa State at Vandy, ESPN2; Arkansas at Oklahoma State, ESPNU
  • 5 p.m. – Kansas at Kentucky, ESPN; Baylor at Ole Miss, ESPN2; Auburn at TCU, ESPNU
