ORLANDO, Florida – The LSU women’s golf team posted a 4-over round of 292 in the second round Monday of the ANNIKA Intercollegiate at the Reunion Club’s Watson Course.

The Lady Tigers stand at 7-over 583 (291-292) after 36 holes and in 11th place. First round lead Southern California followed up a 12-under round with 17 strokes more under par on Monday to stand at 29-under par 547, 17 shots clear of second place Texas A&M (564) and 20 shots ahead of third-place Arizona at 567 (-9).

The final round is set for Tuesday in the three-day 54-hole event.

LSU had an extremely consistent day with no player posting higher than 3-over 75. The low second round went to Elise Bradley who had three birdies and three bogeys in an even par round of 72. Caroline Nistrup (17 pars) and Nadine Dreher (4 birdies) had 1-over 73s, while Kathleen Gallagher (16 pars) posted a 2-over 74. Marina Hedlund posted a 3-over 75 on her second round.

Gallagher is in a tie for 21st after 36 holes at 1-under par 143 (69-74), while Dreher is at even par 144 (71-73) for a tie for 23rd. Bradley’s 72 puts her at 1-over 145 (73-72) and tied for 29th.

The new individual leader after the second round is Robynn Ree of Southern California at 10-under par 134 after a 6-under par round of 66.

LSU is tied third in the field in pars at 126 behind Duke (131) and Washington (130) after two rounds and tied with Arkansas, Stanford and Southern California. Gallagher is tied for second with 29 pars in two rounds. Dreher has played the par 5 holes in 4-under par, also tied for second in the stats on those particular holes.
