Lady Tigers Among Top 50 in World Amateur Rankings

BATON ROUGE – The 16th-ranked LSU women’s golf team had a good fourth place finish in its season opening tournament of the season this past week and two of the Lady Tigers are ranked inside the top 50 in this week’s World Women’s Amateur Golf Rankings.

LSU junior All-American Caroline Nistrup from Denmark moved up three spots this week to No. 28 and senior All-SEC golfer Elise Bradley of Mandeville, Louisiana, moved up two spots to No. 46.

Both players are expected to be in action when the Lady Tigers go back to play on Sunday against a strong field in the ANNIKA Intercollegiate in Orlando, Florida.

The women’s WAGR system ranked the top female amateur golfers in the world on the basis of their average performance in counting events over a rolling cycle of the previous 52 weeks.
